**Job Description**
**WHAT'S THE JOB?**
As the** Housekeeping Senior Supervisor / **Manager**, reporting to the Account Director, you will supervise and coordinate all housekeepers and housekeeping supervisors and will be responsible for creating and maintaining the cleanliness of our site facilities to the highest level.
**Your work will include**
- Assist with training, Health &safety initiatives i.e., Don't Walk By and Recruitment
- Assist Account Director with the review of monthly/yearly hours for billing accuracy
- Closing and dispatching work orders and update the software maintenance system and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare inventory of linen for hoteling season
- Manage supervisors - make sure inspections are done and work is done to satisfaction
- Attend weekly meetings with client and Dexterra meetings or as needed
- Assign work to team members based on work orders and client needs
- Assist Account Director in reviewing client’s KPI’s and provide solutions to meet or exceed KPIs
- Provide housekeeper with positive leadership and set an example of expected requirements
- Complete inventory and order supplies to budget parameters
- Assist Account Director with all paperwork required for reporting purposes which may include time sheets, worker incident and accident reports;
- Assist with inspections and using software
- Observe and report any needed repairs or damages in residence to Account Director
**Qualifications**
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Meticulous and have a keen eye for cleanliness
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in housekeeping or a related field
- Bilingual French / English
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
**NICE TO HAVE**
- Experience working with unionized employees and an understanding of labor laws and regulations
- Experience working on a Health and Safety committee
- Standard First Aid
