Focal is hiring a Creative Marketing Specialist to join our growing Focal team. We are a Victoria-based company that offers an all-in-one Website & Booking System for photographers. **The rundown**:
This is a full-time role (35-40 hours/week). Co-op students are welcome.

The goal and responsibility of the Creative Marketing Specialist is to create engaging content targeted both toward non-customers and current Focal users. They will handle and execute marketing activities designed to create engagement and promote new products.

**What you'll do**:
Marketing Strategy: You'll take part in planning marketing campaigns designed to engage potential customers, and educate them about Focal's unique benefits.

**What you're good at**:
Design & Aesthetics: Experience here is an asset, but not strictly required. You're someone who can understand brand identity, and put together content that is aligned with it.

Writing: You're an excellent writer. You know the difference between a run-on sentence and a sentence fragment. You know how to distill a story and make it clear, concise, and engaging.

Initiative: You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.?

Adaptable: Focal is a fast-paced environment where marketing needs may change on a weekly or daily basis. Being able to make decisions, learn from them, and adjust accordingly is a big asset.
