**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Professional Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of our furry clients, creating a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs.
- Assess the condition of dogs' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with dog owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any specific instructions or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or feedback they may have.
- Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in managing appointments and scheduling grooming sessions as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Professional grooming certificate is required plus 2 years previous experience in dog grooming is mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with dog owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and appropriate grooming techniques is a plus.
- A genuine love for dogs and commitment to their care and well-being.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to dog owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
