Position Information:
**Qualifications**:

- Previous institutional experience in food preparation/service an asset
- Food Handlers Course mandatory (must be completed within 30 days of offer)
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required
- Able to perform activities related to patient service and food production
- Able to perform some housekeeping functions, such as cleaning equipment, moving carts, lifting and bending
- Team player with good “customer service”, communication skills and reading skills
- Ability to work independently
- Satisfactory performance appraisals in present position
- Satisfactory attendance
- Safety conscious and able to stand and walk for up to an 8-hour period
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
- Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
