Right Start Employment is seeking highly motivated EDM Wire Operator to join our team. Our client, a leading manufacturer is actively looking to hire for an EDM Wire Technician/Operator. This is a full-time opportunity, based in Brampton, ON. Shift Time: 7:30am -4pm This is a temporary to permanent position. **Once Permanent our client offers**: - Extended health care, Dental care, vision care, Life Insurance - Paid time off, Casual dress, Flexible Schedule, Overtime **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Set-Up and operate Wire EDM machines with mínimal supervision; - Programming Wire EDM machines - Interpolate SOLIDS data in Mastercam; - Collaborate with co-workers; - Schedule jobs to maximize efficiency throughout shift. **QUALIFICATIONS** - Minimum 1 to 3 years of Wire EDM, set up, and operating experience; - Knowledge of CAD/CAM Knowledge of Mastercam is an asset) - Proficient in interpolating SOLIDS data in Mastercam; - Sound understanding of GD&T; - Work with mínimal supervision. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual **Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Wire EDM Operating: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: One location
