**Summary**:
The Rewards & Recognition Coordinator plays a key support role in delivering employee-focused rewards & recognition programs that promote engagement, wellness, and recognition across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Rewards & Recognition, this role will assist in coordinating, administering, and communicating initiatives that enhance overall employee experience. This includes employee wellness programs (occupational and non-occupational disability management), employee pension and benefits support, and social events support.

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Rewards & Recognition Coordinator your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Senior Manager, Rewards & Recognition across a range of total compensation and employee experience programs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for WSIB/WCB, Leave of Absence, and Long-Term Disability claims. Coordinate with supervisors, managers, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to gather and evaluate relevant documentation.
- Assist in the effective management of active claims by preparing case summaries and status reports, tracking timelines, and contributing to case management meetings.
- Support the coordination of Return-to-Work plans by tracking progress, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring all related documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
- Support developing and delivering employee wellness programs, policies, procedures, and training. Help ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and internal standards.
- Assist in investigating workplace incidents to determine root causes and identify opportunities for preventive action. Maintain detailed documentation to support organizational learning and continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative support for employee pension and benefits programs, including handling routine inquiries, preparing documentation, and coordinating with third-party providers.
- Assist in the organization and logistics of pension and benefits communications, including onboarding sessions and employee information meetings.
- Support file management and data integrity within the HRIS related to employee benefits.
- Support planning and execution of the company’s social events and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with the Social Committee.
- Maintain calendars for social and employee engagement events and assist with related communications and logistics.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; working toward CHRP or CEBS designation is considered an asset.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a coordinator or administrative role within human resources or employee programs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); HRIS experience (Ceridian Dayforce preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive employee information.
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to support event logistics and occasional travel, as needed.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence and have the flexibility and ability to travel to locations within the Company.
- Takes pride in driving oneself and others towards operational excellence.
