Stafford Medical Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant with a current license to join our team.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant program.
- Registered and in good standing as a Clinical Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Recent 2-3 years of clinical experience required
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, make decisions, and take initiative within the scope of practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using an Accuro EMR
- Acts professionally and responsibly
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding service to patients and families

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Conducting patient interviews and taking medical histories
- Performing physical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting tests
- Perform administrative tasks throughout the day
- Developing management plans
- Communicating with patients, discussing issues, and delivering results
- Assist physician in care of patients
- Provide education to patients and family
- Counseling on preventative health care
- Proficiently use EMR to document encounters
- Preparing referrals and consult letters as needed
- Other duties as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
