**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Assist in menu planning to create balanced and appealing meal options
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during all food handling processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
- Cater to special dietary needs as required by clients or guests
- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service during meal service, ensuring guest satisfaction

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
- Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Experience in cooking, meal preparation, and catering services
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service
