We invite you to consider a unique opportunity as a Crisis and Training Officer with the Consequence Management Branch.

As the**Crisis and Training Officer, you will be the department’s expert in emergency management training and crisis preparedness, responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive training programs, policies, and exercises across Environment and Protected Areas (EPA) and with external partners. You will coordinate risk assessments and crisis response plans with an all-hazards approach, support the activation of emergency operations, and ensure cross-government collaboration in times of crisis. This role requires strong strategic thinking, relationship-building, and resource management skills to align efforts across ministries, agencies, and industry partners. With a focus on continuous improvement and integration, you’ll provide leadership during complex emergencies, mentor internal teams, and represent EPA in critical planning and response efforts.
