Job Title Flower Store Manager at Fancy Florist Inc. Languages English – required Tamil – optional Education & Experience College/CEGEP or equivalent non‑university certificate or diploma of 1‑2 years; Business administration/management, general; Hospitality administration/management. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in retail or wholesale settings, preferably in flowers and plants. Experience with operations, invoicing, sales, marketing promotions, and management. Work experience in the green economy sector and knowledge of product import/export. Key Responsibilities Direct and control daily store operations. Evaluate, plan, and organize daily activities. Manage staff, assign duties, recruit, hire, and supervise. Conduct performance reviews, oversee payroll administration, and resolve customer issues. Analyze market research, determine consumer demand, and implement pricing and credit policies. Procure merchandise, develop marketing strategies, and monitor budgets. Design bouquets and select flowers and accessories for arrangements. Maintain compliance with customs regulations, safety procedures, and environmental standards. Computer & Technical Skills Point‑of‑sale systems Word processing, spreadsheet, and email software Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Outlook Knowledge of import/export processes Physical & Logistics Requirements Fast‑paced, fast‑moving environment Handling heavy loads and standing/walking for extended periods Will traveling cross‑border and maintaining a valid driver’s licence required. Criminal record check, driver’s licence validity, and driving record check (abstract).
