Maymont Central School has around 140 students from Pre-K to grade 12 and a staff of 20. They are a collaborative learning community that strives for excellence. **Summary of Position**

**This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time Educational Assistant Position at Maymont Central School, commencing October 1, 2025. Hour of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.**Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
- Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
