Our Maymont, Saskatchewan terminal is currently seeking a Facility Operator Level 2, reporting to the Operations Manager. The Facility Operator Level 2 is responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping grain while operating the grain facility safely and efficiently. Our Facility Operators work a modified work schedule of 13.3 hours per day, Monday to Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday on a rotating basis.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate grain processing equipment including, binning, cleaning, drying, blending, and storing of grainCollecting and testing grain samples
- Provide high quality customer service to growers and commercial truckers
- Ensure the facility and grounds are clean, tidy, and free of fire hazards
- Collect grain samples for quality analysis
- Prepare shipping documentation and maintain grain samples
- Receive product recording quality, damages, and shortages
- Document and report bin mixes, grain cleaning, grain drying, grain receiving and downtime in the provided logs
- Organize, maintain, and verify inventory
- Prepare, weigh, and load railcars for shipment
- Assist with the service of equipment used in the movement of grain
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of corporate safety policies and procedures, best practices, and current government legislation
- Must be flexible to work overtime evenings and weekends when required

**KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
**Essential**
- 2-3 years of experience as a Facility Operator Level 1
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn and willingness to take on responsibilities of the position
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds plus bend and twist
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships
- Flexibility to work overtime on evenings and weekends when required
- Valid driver's license

**Desirable**
- General labour experience preferably in agriculture and farming
- Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain grain processing equipment

**EDUCATION**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
