Join the team at Bow River Brewing
We are looking for someone who is energetic and motivated. That works well in a team and as an individual. Social and able to deliver excellent and friendly customer service.
Position will be made up of blended activities. You will be representing Bow River Brewing in the taproom and at events. You will make sure our taproom is a comfortable place for people to meet and enjoy great beer. Taproom events small and big are your focus area. You will organize parties, special events and community engagements. When needed you will represent Bow River Brewing at tastings, farmers markets, beerfest etc.
Position requirements
- Able to work Wed-Sun
- Lead all aspects of taproom operations in addition to planning and staffing on and off site promotional and special events while ensuring overall profitability
- Keep the taproom organized, well stocked and clean and ensure overall profitability
- Love to organize events and have attention to detail to make them happen
- Ensure events are properly marketed by supporting the efforts of the marketing team
- Help control profit or loss by collecting, reviewing and performing all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner including but not limited to daily cash controls and paperwork, weekly inventory and paperwork, period ending paperwork and staff scheduling. Will monitor comps, voids, refunds and employee benefits.
- Works to find cost savings and inefficiencies in all aspects of operations.
- Have your own transportation, best to have a larger vehicle to be able to transport beers to and from farmers markets and tastings.
- Effectively responds to customer feedback as well as peer, employee and management feedback.
- Maintains a professional image and collaborative attitude at all times.
- Have a valid Proserve
- Having a knowledge and love for Alberta's craft beer industry
**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred.
- Applicable experience in the hospitality industry 3+ years.
- High Volume Taproom experience preferred.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
