**OUTSIDE TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE**

DXP Natpro (National Process Equipment Inc) one of Canada?s leading national distributors of pumping equipment, related process equipment, packaged pump and compressor systems.

National Process Equipment is part of the DXP Corporation operating from eight facilities located across Canada, and represents a variety of world-class pump and compressor manufacturers. The company serves many different market sectors including Mining & Metals, Chemical & Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment and many others.

Broad position responsibilities will include proactive promotion and sale of pump products to in the Fort McMurray area to the SAGD and mining facilities.

**LOCATION**:
Fort McMurray, Alberta

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
In this role, you will:

- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage existing customer base.
- Develop, nurture and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers and key influencers
- Promote the entire brand to grow sales at existing customers by broadening your scope of supply.
- Identify, qualify and secure sales opportunities and maintain quotation log through constant followup.
- Prospect for new business.
- Develop weekly / monthly / annual sales and forecasting reports.
- Assist Internal Sales in the preparation of quotations and bid clarifications.
- Provide market, customer and competitor intelligence during quote preparation and evaluation
- Regularly engage in lunch and learn sessions to promote the Company?s capabilities.
- Promote Natpro?s products at regional trade shows as required.

**EDUCATIONAL TRAINING, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, APTITUDE**:

- Two to Five years demonstrated ability to successfully sell the assigned products in this geographical area.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions.
- Technical education and background.
- Superior and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated analytical skills required for technical documents review and comment.
- Better than average computer skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.

Rotating equimpment experience woud be an asset
- Pumps
- Centrifugal ? API, ANSI
- Positive Displacement ? Reciprocating, Rotary, etc.
- Compressors
- Blowers
- Mixers
- Mechanical Seals
- Other machinery
- SAGD and/or mining processes
- Off site and utilities
- Sales processes with the major Producers

**ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE**:

- Five years demonstrated ability to successfully sell the assigned products in this geographical area.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions
- Technical education and background, C.E.T preferred.
- A thorough and demonstrated knowledge of the processes involved in the Oil & Gas market place (Conventional ? upstream/midstream and SAGD)
- Superior and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated analytical skills required for technical documents review and comment.
- Better than average computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.
