The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the revenues and profitability for the business unit and to develop, maintain and grow positive customer relationships. This position will help solve customer problems using DNOW products and services. A key component of this role will be to source new business opportunities, and bring an excellent customer service attitude, while simultaneously understanding the needs and goals of our business.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**:

- Solve customer problems using DNOW products and services.
- Provide market and client intelligence and feedback to lead to new and clearly-defined opportunities.
- Is comfortable asking uncomfortable questions and dealing with customer problems.
- Increase revenues and profitability for the business and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Identify new customers and develop positive relationships that will result in the sale of products and services.
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships that will result in ongoing, repeat and single-sourced business.
- Will utilize a team environment to increase win percentage.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations that will increase the brand awareness of DNOW and educate customers about the products and services within our business unit.
- Prepare business plans and new product development requests that can lead to the execution of new business opportunities.
- Work with other DNOW Canada business units to cross sell their products that will improve the overall performance of DNOW and experience for the customer.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe work environment of themselves, fellow employees, customers, vendors and other DNOW partners.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Business, Engineering background, or equivalent industry experience
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, or a willingness to learn
- Ability and desire to work with a diverse group of employees and departments
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous years in a sales role in an energy services organization
- A proven track record of sales and margin growth and a wealth of industry contacts within the operating region.
- Familiar with sales and customer reporting
