Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Plan routes and ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

Qualifications:

- Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, dispatchers, and customers
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or other loading/unloading equipment is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- delivery driving: 3 years (required)
