Position Summary

Major Job Responsibilities- Performs park maintenance duties including turf maintenance, horticulture planting and maintenance, garbage collection and other park beatification- Follows a schedule to provide routine service to parks and open spaces- Operates riding mowers and landscaping related equipment in accordance with industry standards- Represents the Town of Milton in a professional manner and works as part of a team- Complies with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health and Safety Act- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with Department objectives

Education & Experience- Enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary school-
- Previous experience with park and road maintenance duties, such as: turf maintenance, horticulture, and roadway flagging is considered an asset

Certifications and Designations- Minimum G2 license is required- Current Standard First Aid Certificate/CPR and WHMIS is considered an asset

Hourly Rate: $17.87
