Assistant Property Manager

**Overview**
**Location and Transportation**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Track and update all online records and accounts as needed (e.g. Utilities, etc).
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems, ensuring all tenant information is up to date.
- Utilize Google Sheets and Excel for property management tasks, including financial reporting and lease tracking.
- Provide customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants through effective sales techniques and relationship management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
- Facilitate communication between tenants and management regarding lease agreements, renewals, and community events.
- Ensure follow up on all open admin items and stay in close touch with the Property Manager.
- Timesheets are required to get paid.
**Skills**
- Previous property management experience is a must.
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets.
- Previous office experience with strong administrative skills.
- Must be well organized and must be efficient in their work.
- Strong communication skills and good written English
- Experience with customer relationship management.
- Competency in data entry and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Lots of common sense.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- demonstrable problem solving: 2 years (required)
- Property management: 3 years (required)
- Customer service: 3 years (required)
