**About Us**

We are a small growing food manufacturing company that has been in business for 30 years. We are a family business. We are in a newly renovated building on Kingsway Avenue in Port Coquitlam that has air conditioning.

**Description**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prep sandwich fillings (30 - 150 kg) to make hundreds of sandwiches and salads
- Accurately cut cheeses with a knife into small portions
- Assemble sandwiches and wraps
- Labeling products
- Wrapping stacks of bread trays with pallet wrap
- Cleaning (dish washing, mopping etc)
- Shifts are 5am-1pm
- Schedule is Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed (Tues + Thurs are days off)

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Commercial kitchen experience minimum 1 year
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Experience cooking and cleaning
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and accurately record weight and lot numbers
- Communicate well in English - verbal, reading and writing
- Good hand eye coordination
- Good attention to detail
- Reliability is a key requirement as this affects the whole team
- Foodsafe 1

**Nice to Have**
- Proficient with a meat slicer
- Experience washing fruits and vegetables commercially
- Familiar with using a Robot Coupe

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$19.50 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
