**About Us**

We are a small growing food manufacturing company that has been in business for 30 years. We are a family business. We are in a newly renovated building on Kingsway Avenue in Port Coquitlam that has air conditioning.

**Description**

We are looking for a sandwich maker to help us assemble wraps and salads. We need 4 people to work 6 hour shifts to cover all the days of the week. Our ideal candiate is quick with their hands and has experience with safe food handling.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assemble sandwiches, wraps and salads
- Communicate in English including reading ingredients and writing lot codes
- Label products
- Wrap stacks of bread trays with pallet wrap
- Cleaning (dish washing, mopping etc)
- Assist with prep as needed
- Shifts are between 6 hours long (7am-1pm or 5am to 11am)
- Could can become a full time position if you can start at 5am

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Good hand eye coordination
- Experience cooking and cleaning
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to follow recipes precisely
- Good attention to detail
- Reliability is a key requirement as this affects the whole team
- Foodsafe 1

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with rolling wrap sandwiches
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Experience with deli meat slicers
- Experience washing fruits and vegetables commercially
- Familiar with using a Robot Coupe

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
