**Position Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Multi-Unit Manager** to oversee the profitable operations and sustained growth of our Firehouse Subs restaurants in the Edmonton area. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring each location delivers exceptional "Heartfelt Service," high-quality food, and a consistent, positive experience for both our guests and our teams. The Multi-Unit Manager will be a mentor, a business strategist, and a brand ambassador, driving performance and upholding the Firehouse Subs mission across multiple locations. **Key Responsibilities** - **Operational Excellence**: - Oversee all aspects of daily operations across multiple restaurants, ensuring adherence to brand standards, policies, and procedures. - Conduct regular store visits and operational audits to ensure consistent quality, cleanliness, and guest service. - Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, food cost, labor, and controllable expenses to identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans. - **Financial Management**: - Drive profitability by developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and manage costs effectively. - Review and analyze each restaurant's Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, working with individual store managers to create and achieve budget goals. - Ensure all cash handling and financial reporting procedures are followed accurately and consistently. - **Team Leadership & Development**: - Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers. - Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship to restaurant leadership, fostering professional growth and career development. - Cultivate a positive and supportive work environment that aligns with the Firehouse Subs culture. - Lead by example, promoting a sense of urgency, teamwork, and accountability. - **Community & Brand Representation**: - Act as a key representative of the Firehouse Subs brand in the local community. - Oversee and actively participate in local marketing initiatives and promotional events for each location. **Qualifications** - Minimum of [e.g., 2-3] years of experience in a multi-unit or district management role within the quick-service or fast-casual restaurant industry. - Proven track record of managing and leading multiple restaurant teams to meet and exceed operational and financial targets. - Strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of P&L statements, food cost, and labor management. - Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. - A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as this role involves travel between locations. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support operations. **About Firehouse Subs**: Firehouse Subs consistently ranks No. 1 among fast-casual brands for food quality, friendly service, and taste and flavor.
