Including annual insurance, recommendations for optimal coverage, cost terms, budgeting & forecasting, litigation assistance, and claim settlement assistance for all the organization’s assets and business units. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage the administration and placement of the organizations company’s multi-line corporate insurance portfolio (Property, General liability, Cyber, Auto, Workers Comp, Truck Fleet, Environmental, AD&D, D&O, Fiduciary, Marine, Cargo & Storage, Charters Liability, Umbrella layers, etc)Liaise with the Insurance Broker to prepare and deliver all annual renewal applications and informationMaintain ongoing contact with the Insurance Broker and Insurance companies and various internal business partners regarding insurance needs, insurance certificates, managing claims and litigation, and ensuring all invoices are paidReview and recommend edits to vendor and client contracts with respect to insurance liability and coverage clausesPrepare annual insurance budgets, maintain monthly forecasts, and provide variance analysis to senior managementPrepare reports and analysis for Senior Management as neededProvide support, manuals and training to business teams interacting with the insurance programsLead and organize claim submissions and participate in projects, as requiredAssist legal department with general contract reviewsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLSMinimum of five years’ experience in the insurance industry or providing paralegal support within an insurance law practiceStrong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply insurance conceptsTrack record of managing insurance programs for large organizations, preferably in a multinational or corporate settingWell-developed communication, presentation, and influencing skills to effectively collaborate across all levels within and outside the organizationAbility to think critically and recommend ideas for improvement of existing policies and practices, optimize coverage and costPragmatic approach to problem-solving and analytical review with superior attention to detail, accuracy, and completenessExcellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skillsOutstanding time management and organizational capabilities with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, dealing with competing priorities and deadlinesProactive, action-oriented with a high degree of initiativeWHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERECareer Growth: Build specialized expertise within the legal team, gaining exposure to senior leadership and high-level projects.Work-life Balance: Enjoy a stable role with structured responsibilities and the flexibility to manage priorities effectively.Recognition and Impact: Your analysis and recommendations directly influence strategic decisions and protect the organizations most valuable assets.Autonomy: You’ll have the autonomy to manage your work independentlyCulture: Global in reach, personal in approach — you’ll never feel like just a number here.WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED3 years of related experienceCERTIFICATIONS DESCRIPTIONCollege diploma, certificate, or degree from an LSO-accredited paralegal program and pass LSO’s paralegal licensing exam & meet “good character”; orSuccessful completion of an accredited ILCO Law Clerk program.  We know that women and people of color may be less likely to apply if their professional experience does not exactly match the job description.
