In this role, you will assist in the calibration, testing, and maintenance of a variety of equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with cGMP facility standards.Major Responsibilities:Perform Calibration, inspection, measurement, and test equipment for accuracy in accordance to established calibration procedures. Perform various preventive, corrective maintenance tasks, and calibrations on a variety of GMP and non-GMP production and facilities equipmentUse established internal procedures as well as industry standards, manufacturer procedures, etc. for the proper calibration and troubleshooting of measuring and test equipmentMaintain a clean, safe work area and perform all work in accordance with SOPs, and GMP and Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and local codesResponsible for daily operational checks which may include maintaining, repairing, lubricating, inspecting, cleaning and testing of equipmentLegibly, accurately, and in detail, document work performed on work order reportsComplete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of measurement and test equipmentMonitor and respond to system failures, alarms, and abnormal site conditions by taking appropriate corrective actionsUtilize test and safety equipment as required to perform assigned tasks efficiently and safelyMinimum QualificationsExperience in calibration, process equipment and building servicesGood organization and communication skillsAbility to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, and P&IDsGood computer skillsPositive and flexible frame of mind to react to demanding- situationsPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or coursework in electronics, metrology, or some formal technical education and trade Certificate of Qualification or a related field preferredInstrumentation and Control Technician (447A).Industrial Electrician (442A)Experience with bio-pharmaceutical equipment would be a definite assetExperience in a cGMP environment is an assetThis position may also include the following conditions:Ability to multi-task and manage multiple and shifting priorities Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include shift work and weekends to support operating schedules, facility requirements, and / or respond to call-in emergency situationsPerforms any other job-related duties as assignedThe items described here are representative of those that must be met successfully to perform the essential functions of this job.Resilience Biotechnologies Inc.
