OverviewCalibration/Service Technician role at Tektronix.ResponsibilitiesCalibration Technicians perform routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment.Achieve customer satisfaction through completion of calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned by lead techs or supervisors.Accurately enter data into tracking database.May perform final inspection of work completed by other technicians.Create calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision, based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.Complete all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systems.Interact with customers for items requiring repair or limited calibration.Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.Perform low to high complexity calibrations, PD, GP, BioMed & RF measurement areas.Perform Preventative Maintenance.Perform work at the customer location as well as in the service center.Adhere to quality management system policies and procedures in performance of work.RBS (Ralliant Business System) participation — Daily Scheduling, Visual Management Participation, Kaizen Participation, Basic problem solving.Perform other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and orderly manner.QualificationsTypically requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of extensive calibration experience in PD, GP, BioMed & RF measurement areas.6 to 8 years of experience highly preferred.College degree in Electronics (2- or 3-year program) is highly preferred.Excellent customer service skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the occasional need to perform calibration by alternate, acceptable methods.Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel.Ability to travel as needed for personal skill enhancement and training; as well as to fully support customer calibration requirements.Able to meet requirements to drive a company vehicle (Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record).Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.Security RequirementsRegular background check.CGP Controlled Goods Program Security Clearance.About Tektronix / RalliantTektronix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ralliant Corporation, is a place where people are challenged to explore the boundaries of what’s possible, bringing the digital future one step closer every day.
