Lead HandThe Lead hand is generally responsible for customer service to patrons and maintaining the cleanliness of the building and common areas and exterior areas and responding to daily cleaning requirements and service requests based on end user traffic patterns through the building space.Duties:DailySweeping, mopping, garbage collection & other cleaning responsibilitiesCheck in with staff and check on their routine and ensure outstanding work order completionWalk the site and perform inspections and attend to any outstanding requestsCheck in with Site Manager and report duties and work order completion and follow up on outstanding work ordersPlan and assess outstanding work order completion and follow up on schedule/timelineAssist team members to meet their assigned area cleanliness standardsMaintain storage areas, cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe, tidy and healthy mannerReview daily cleaning and washroom logs for completion. Follow up on any issues or anything outstandingPerform hands on work in all departments: Day Porter, Food court, Exterior cleaning and garbage removal dutiesOperate walk behind and stand on scrubbers.   WeeklyEnsure schedule is communicated to the cleaning staff and staff are aware of any shift changesPerform supply count, stock and inventory, and pars levelReport minor maintenance repairsWeekly site inspection of areas for cleanliness and qualityMonthlyMeet with Site Manager for an in-depth review of site operations and personal developmentPeriodic Train and onboard new hiresOther duties assigned by the Site ManagerREQUIREMENTS:Valid Drivers License2 years of previous cleaning experienceBasic English verbal and reading skillsAbility to work outside in varying conditionsPositive and proactive attitudeService-oriented approachAbility to adhere to safety requirementsAbility to lift 20 lbs.If this exciting opportunity is of interest to you, please apply now
