Job Description The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard.We are looking for a Head Bartender to oversee the bar program. Our Front of the house team delivers exceptional food and drink while creating a unique experience to every one of our guests.DutiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guestsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar areaProvide excellent customer service and engage with guestsProcess transactions accurately using POS systemsCollaborate with FOH and BOH staff to ensure timely serviceAdhere to all food safety and hygiene standardsManage inventory of bar supplies and report shortagesAssist in training new staff members as neededSetting up and tearing down the bar to ensure a clean and safe working environmentAssist manager with the bar inventory on a monthly basis.Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.Other jobs as assigned.Job RequirementsMust have “Serving It Right” certificatePrevious experience both Server and Lead BartenderWine, spirit and beer knowledge is a definitive asset and highly recommendedMust be well self-motivated, responsible, organizedHave excellent communication and guest services skillsMaintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environmentPhysical Demands:Standing for long periods at a timeLifting – under 30 lbsCarrying – over 25 lbsPulling – over 25 lbs – bending, standing, reaching and kneeling.Schedule:Day shiftEvening shiftHolidaysWeekendsAbility to commute/relocate:North Vancouver, BC V7L 0B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Requirements: Serving It Right Work Permit
