Job description

**Summary**

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard.

We are looking for bartender who is outgoing, charismatic, friendly and professional. We offer competitive wages, flexible shifts from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to fit within your lifestyle. Our Front of the house team delivers exceptional food and drink while creating a unique experience to every one of our guests.

**Duties**
- Take and serve beverages & food orders
- Setting up and tearing down the bar to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Assist manager with the bar inventory on a monthly basis
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.
- Other jobs as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Must have “Serving It Right” certificate
- Previous experience both Server and Bartender
- Wine, spirit and beer knowledge is a definitive asset and highly recommended
- Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized
- Have excellent communication and guest services skills
- Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment.

**Physical Demands**:

- Lifting - under 20 lbs
- Carrying - over 20 lbs
- Pulling - over 20 lbs - bending, standing, reaching and kneeling.

**Salary**: $17.14-$20.17 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
