Required Knowledge and Experience: Excellent clinical nursing skills with experience and proficiency in current physical assessment and treatment methods within the scope of practice.Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, and administrative skills that include computer literacy. Required Professional Designation/Certificate: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class without restrictions.Post-graduate certificate and experience in palliative care an asset (e.g., Certificate in Hospice Palliative Care Nursing Canada [CHPCN(C)]).Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.
