Catholic School Centre Information Technology – 5 Avenue SW, Calgary     The Systems Analyst is accountable for providing system development, support, and maintenance services to various departments. The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing both enterprise systems and in-house developed applications across the district, with a primary focus on PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM). This role provides day-to-day operational support including ticket resolution, system configuration, testing, integrations, and technical troubleshooting, while also engaging in requirements gathering and solution design in collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders. The position ensures the stability, security, and effectiveness of critical HR and payroll systems with solid proficiency in:  PeopleSoft HCM modules, PeopleTools 8.60+ (including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface);  SQL, SQR, COBOL,  Workflow/Approval Framework , Integration Broker and BI Publisher.  The role also leverages C#, Azure, and JSON to support and maintain custom-built applications and integration components that complement the PeopleSoft environment. This position offers the opportunity to support and evolve enterprise-grade K–12 systems serving more than schools and administrative sites, relied upon daily by thousands of users.     Specific Accountabilities    • Provides ongoing system support and maintenance to Calgary Catholic’s applications as assigned.  • Delivers application development and enhancement services including analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation.  • Assists with business analysis and requirements definition; defines system logic and program specifications based on user requirements and provides ongoing support.  • Actively participates in identifying process and systems solutions to meet business needs or to resolve business issues.  • Ensures the confidentiality of all financial, employee and student information.  • Other duties as required.    Qualifications    • A relevant 2-year Diploma in an IT related field.     • Minimum of three years to five (5 years) of experience in systems delivery and integration, including testing and documentation.  •  Minimum of three years of experience in a developer role, with a strong emphasis on requirements analysus and system design.  • Preferred experience with educational systems, i.e., Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS) or PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).  •  Demonstrated ability to work with  project plan, prioritize tasks, and  and deliver completed project within assigned timelines • Strong experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Office productivity tools  Solid proficiency with PowerShell, C#, ASP.Net, XML, HTML, JavaScript, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Office using SQL Server, Oracle and Dataverse database platforms Ability to manage multiple project tasks in a dynamic environment • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent planning, analytic, problem-solving and organization skills   The Calgary Catholic School District is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and considers catholicity, equity, diversity, and inclusivity to be foundational to its institutional success.     The Calgary Catholic School District seeks to foster a workplace that reflects the full breadth of the communities it serves.  If selected as the successful candidate for this position, please be aware that you will be required, as a condition of employment, to submit to the District a police information check (PIC) prior to your start date .
