We are looking for a **Business Systems Analyst**for **a 6-month contract** position in **Calgary, Alberta** with possible extensions. **Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.**

**This position is 100% onsite at the client’s office downtown in Calgary, Alberta.**

**Role Description**:
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with experience in Oil and Gas, preferably in E&P companies supporting Production Operations. Solid business analysis skills, along with an extensive technical background, are required to support our systems and business stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support, coordinate and manage ongoing upgrades, maintenance and issue resolution
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand/document their processes and business needs
- Lead/support systems implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping and test coordination
- Manage testing cycles for system upgrades, including working with the business users and vendors to ensure upgrades/changes are successful and have minimum impact on users
- Develop effective relationships with system vendors
- Perform incident and change management processes to ensure adequate control of systems and information

**Qualifications**:

- **A minimum of 5 years of related experience in O&G, preferably in E&P**
- **Experience with administration and support of Production Operations systems, preferably with Peloton ProdView**
- **Effective communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and external partners**
- **Strong knowledge of Asset Data Management**
- **Strong core Business Analysis skills**
- Able to work in a very dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes
- Able to handle competing requests and prioritize work accordingly
- Self-starter that takes initiative when it comes to completing all necessary tasks
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
