Our offerings could include:Employee ownership opportunities that build long-term valueAnnual discretionary performance bonusesRRSP, TSA, Pension Contribution OptionsFlexible medical, dental and vision benefitsPrescription drug coverage and virtual care servicesLife, AD&D and disability insurancePaid parental leave and family care supportHealth and lifestyle spending account optionsMental health and wellness support, including Employee Assistance ProgramsCareer growth pathways, leadership development and mentorship programsAccess to world-class training through PCL's College of Construction and professional development coursesOngoing opportunities to learn new skills, explore different roles and grow your career across sectors and regions Here's how a HR Advisor for PCL Industrial Management Inc. contributes to our team:ResponsibilitiesLeads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.  Develops and executes a recruitment plan with appropriate sourcing strategies.  Participates in district HRPD planning process and leads the development, execution and evaluation of district-level projects initiatives as assigned.  Provides guidance, coaches, and trains on all aspects of career management.  Guides and coaches supervisors on employee relations issues, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement activities, workforce planning and training programs.  Assists with local market research and analysis for annual compensation review and owns the calibration of salary/bonus review process for client groups. Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders within the district. QualificationsPostsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred. Working towards an HR designation preferred.  Minimum 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a highly matrixed organization.Able to mentor and coach entry-level human resources professionals.  Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.  Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.  Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.  Your Work Has Purpose Here PCL projects are where life happens, where communities connect, careers begin, and progress is made.
