This role is responsible for supervising a team of maintenance personnel and ensuring all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable regulations.The ideal candidate will have experience working with HVAC/Mechanical systems, as well as electrical and plumbing, along with proven leadership and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations and maintenance of 11 facilitiesSupervise, schedule, and support a team of four maintenance staffOversee preventive and corrective maintenance programsEnsure proper operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsCoordinate repairs, inspections, and vendor services as neededMaintain compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulationsDevelop and manage maintenance budgets and track expensesRespond to emergency maintenance issues as requiredMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentationIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savingsWhat you bring to the table:Proven experience as a facilities manager or in a similar roleStrong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsExperience supervising maintenance or facilities staffAbility to manage multiple buildings and priorities effectivelyStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsKnowledge of safety regulations and building codesProficiency with maintenance management systems and basic computer applicationsTechnical certifications or trade background (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)Experience maintaining/managing multiple buildingsWelding experience is an assetWhy Join Us?At AGAT Laboratories, we recognize and value our employees by offering a competitive benefits package, including:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision care.Paid vacation and flexible sick time.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Long-term disability and life insurance.Professional development opportunities.Who We Are:AGAT Laboratories is a premier full-service laboratory operating at the cutting edge of science and innovation across North America.
