Apply today #joinourteam What You Will Do:Strategic PlanningDevelop infrastructure strategies that span multiple cloud vendors, and on-premises data centers that align with IT strategic direction.Drive strategic planning initiatives related to the Information Technology department.Responsible for Technology Design, Standards and Roadmaps.Technical Project LeadershipProvide support to complex cloud-based technical projects.Support technical aspects of assigned projects, including stake holder engagement, design, implementation and delivery, transfer to operations and project closure.Business Unit Support and Relationship BuildingBuilding and maintaining relationships with business and vendor partners.Craft target state solution architectures, conducting gap analyses, and contributing to solution strategy and roadmap development.Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with clients and business analysts.Understand Cloud best practices around architecture, security and storage to meet various customer needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop designs that meet business objectives and technical requirements.Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions, technologies, and best practices to enhance performance, scalability, and security.Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and standards for cloud infrastructure configurations and deployments.Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (IT management, Technology Peers).Know the latest with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud. Who You Are:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with minimum of 6 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Proven experience designing and implementing cloud architectures in platforms such as Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Familiarity with security principles and best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network segmentation.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Possess technical capability and experience to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud trend required.Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management required. Preferred:Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate would be an asset.Extensive experience with Azure Native solutions is a significant advantage.Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following Cloud solutions would be an asset: Azure Arc, Azure Storage, Azure Service Fabric, Business Continuity and DR. Flex-Work:Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
