Civil Engineering Graduate

Job DescriptionAECOM's Transportation Engineering Group is seeking a self-driven and motivated Civil Engineering Graduate to further their professional development within our North Bay, Ontario office.In this role, you will provide technical support on projects related to highways, roadways and/or interchanges.This will be a full-time position expected to begin as soon as possible.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Support Project Engineers and Managers with routine and non-routine tasksProvide project coordination assistance for design and construction of infrastructure projects to support Project Managers with ensuring delivery of design deliverablesUnder supervision, work with stakeholders, third parties and client organizationsGather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresEnsure overall data quality and integrity, while following quality control proceduresPrepare design documentation, correspondence and reportsTypical duties may include:Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meetingsMonitor project costs and budgetsPrepare project schedules and monitor progress of workReview and compile client submittalsAssist with the preparation of technical specifications and bid documentsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Previous exposure or strong interest in transportation infrastructureEngineer in Training (E.I.T) Designation, or eligible to registerProficient with AutoCAD, OpenRoad, Civil 3D Design, or similar applicationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, MS Project (or other scheduling software) and PowerPoint.Additional InformationRelocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
