Job Description
AECOM's Transportation Engineering Group is seeking a self-driven and motivated Civil Engineering Graduate to further their professional development within our North Bay, Ontario office.
In this role, you will provide technical support on projects related to highways, roadways and/or interchanges.
This will be a full-time position expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Support Project Engineers and Managers with routine and non-routine tasks

Provide project coordination assistance for design and construction of infrastructure projects to support Project Managers with ensuring delivery of design deliverables

Under supervision, work with stakeholders, third parties and client organizations

Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
-
Ensure overall data quality and integrity, while following quality control procedures

Prepare design documentation, correspondence and reports
Typical duties may include:

Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meetings
-
Monitor project costs and budgets
-
Prepare project schedules and monitor progress of work
-
Review and compile client submittals
-
Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and bid documents
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous exposure or strong interest in transportation infrastructure
-
Engineer in Training (E.I.T) Designation, or eligible to register
-
Proficient with AutoCAD, OpenRoad, Civil 3D Design, or similar applications
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, MS Project (or other scheduling software) and PowerPoint.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $65000 to $75000.
