Come join ours.Position Overview:Reporting directly to the Manager in the North Vancouver office, the successful Civil or Survey Engineering Technologist will be involved in resource and municipal engineering projects and will possess a strong background working with a motivated and dynamic team of professionals. Successful applicants will participate in the provision of engineering services from proposal stage through planning, design, construction, and commissioning of projects. Applicants should note that field work is an integral part of this position, and they should be prepared to work in adverse environments and conditions.Major Job Functions:Preparing engineering drawingsCoordinating project drawings and reportsSurveying (total station and RTK)Construction LayoutSite and construction inspectionsProject management and contract administrationSpecific Skills and Knowledge:Flexibility, organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail, work accuracy/numeracy and quality orientatedStrong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the businessMotivated and dynamic self-starterStrong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlinesEffective problem-solver with strong analytical skillsA committed and positive attitude along with an obvious customer focus and the ability to build a positive rapport with customersEducation and Experience:Diploma in Civil or Survey Engineering Technology or equivalent experiencePosition can vary from new graduate to senior level experience.
