Join our valued resource protection team and grow your career in a role you can take pride in. We are hiring a Protective Services Guard for our locations in North Vancouver, BC.You will be responsible for:Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.Observing, meeting and greeting customers.Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.Conducting security audits of the building and assets.Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.Adhering to all company policies and procedures.Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.You have: A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).Open availability (considered an asset).Here are some of the perks we offer:Get paid every FridayExclusive team member offers and discounts.Benefits & pension eligibility.Paid training with opportunities to learn and grow.Security license renewal fees reimbursed by the company.All equipment and PPE are supplied by the company.Educational reimbursement & scholarship opportunities.Wellness and team member assistance program.Compensation Details:$20.00 - $26.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
