Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Fleet Coordinator to support our fleet operations, based out of our Vancouver office located in Surrey BC (Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6).Day in the LifeWork with Regional fleet manager, local offices and project managers to create and maintain a master schedule of all upcoming long term equipment requirements across BCDetermine if company needs can be meet with our own equipment or will need to be provided by a rental sourceWork closely with other departments to ensure satisfaction and accuracy of equipment requestsProvide recommendations for equipment purchase when cost savings can be identified Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of large company equipment and rental equipmentVerify availability of equipment with shops and/or check inventory statusFinalize rental details such as when, where and what equipment is neededEnsure accurate pick-up and delivery times of equipment are metOther duties as assigned What We Offer Competitive wages and benefits RRSP MatchingGreat environment where our motto is "Flynn Family Winning Together"On-going career development programs through our in-house Flynn University and eLearning coursesWhat We Are Seeking High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in large equipment rental or dispatching an asset 3 years of experience in fleet administration Experience with a computerized purchasing system Experience with a computerized schedule system such as MS Project Superior organization skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service experience considered an assetAble to work with minimal supervisionProven ability to problem solve$60,000 - $75,000 a yearWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
