We are looking for an innovative, curious, and analytical Product Manager to help us redefine user engagement with weather data and expand our Analytics as a Service cloud-based service model . In this role, you will thrive on solving complex challenges at the intersection of meteorology, data analytics, and business strategy. By solving the last-mile integration problem and translating complex weather data into user-friendly, actionable insights, you will foster effective collaboration across teams. This will ensure our products not only meet market demands but also empower organizations to make informed decisions. Your contributions will help solidify our reputation as an industry leader and enhance our commitment to supporting businesses in navigating climate-related risks.Please note we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and are currently located in the Greater Toronto Area.WHAT IS THE DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKEPartner with Product leadership to develop and execute a strategic annual roadmap for the Insights vertical, focusing on both new product initiatives and enhancements to existing offerings, while prioritizing key business needs and opportunities.Spearhead cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Design, Sales, Data Science, and Product Marketing—to develop and launch innovative weather-driven data and analytics products.Proactively gather and analyze user feedback, market research, and performance data to identify and prioritize opportunities for new product development and product enhancements.Evaluate and prioritize product ideas from diverse sources—both internal and external—to establish a robust pipeline for new product development. Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders and work closely with the Director of Product to gather feedback, validate and refine concepts.Collaborate closely with the product marketing and sales teams to gain insights into client needs and identify opportunities for growth. Support these teams by providing product adoption metrics that enhance understanding of product ROI for clients.Craft comprehensive and actionable product requirements and execution plans to define, develop, and launch new standalone products that effectively address the needs of B2B industry clients.Work as the product owner in a scrum team to deliver against your roadmap and drive continual product improvements. Be a vital member of the B2B product team, collaborating closely with fellow Product Managers to exchange ideas, share insights, and collectively adapt and evolve as a cohesive unit.Perform all product owner responsibilities within the scrum team (writing and prioritization of user stories, defining and clarifying acceptance criteria, explaining business rationale, etc) Roles, responsibilities and duties may evolve and change over time.WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE...Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Meteorology, Data Science &/or Analytics or a related field5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the B2B technology and/or retail sectorProven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing enhancements.Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, UX design, agile coaches, sales, and product marketing.Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.Familiarity with various cloud service models ( Analytics as a Service) and providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure).Background in B2B SaaS/AaaS/API product management and/or experience in meteorology/climatology is considered an asset.YOU ARE MADE FOR THIS IF YOU HAVE...Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and influence with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combining precision, curiosity, and depth of inquiry to drive clarity and informed decisions.Innovative mindset with the capability to think strategically and creatively about product development and market opportunities.Proven product management skills, with the ability to prioritize backlogs and manage multiple products simultaneously.Team player with a demonstrated ability to motivate and collaborate across various functions to successfully bring product innovations to market.Forward-thinking innovator skilled in articulating a vision for delivering differentiated products that offer consumers a relevant and personalized user experience.Proficient in driving concepts from ideation to launch, ensuring a seamless transition through all stages of product development.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent documentation, presentation, and negotiation skills.Passion for weather science and a commitment to using data to drive business decisions and improve user experiences.Extensive product management expertise in transforming ambiguity and strategic goals into clear, actionable product plans and impactful deliverables.Possess an understanding of cloud-based architecture, including the principles and best practices for managing applications in cloud environments.DON’T MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS?
