Location: Etobicoke, Renforth / 427Position type: temporary to permanent Shift: Days, 9AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday Rate: $22 - $24 per hour (depending on experience) Must speak Good English and drive the forklift (counterbalance)Some programing skills is required.Receiving ResponsibilitiesUnloading and accepting deliveries: unload trucks and other deliveries. Verifying contents: Compare shipment contents with purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips to ensure accuracy. Inspecting goods: Check received items for damage, discrepancies, or nonconformance to specifications. Documenting: damages, and discrepancies. Storing and stocking: Assign appropriate storage locations and stock items in the correct areas. Shipping ResponsibilitiesPreparing for shipment: Pack, seal, address, and label outgoing materials. operate Purolator and UPS shipment system to create shipment and label. Inventory and Warehouse ManagementRecordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of all shipments and inventory levels. Input Date to the excel sheetInventory management: Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting. Organization: Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, and organized Communication and CoordinationCollaborating: Work with internal departments like customer service and purchasing, as well as external vendors and carriers. Resolving issues: Address problems such as damages, shortages, or discrepancies. Safety and ComplianceAdhering to regulations: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents.
