What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Underwriter?Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for Canadian small businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters.We want your talentIf you are great at:Commercial underwritingProblem-solving and critical thinkingBuilding relationships with brokersCreating success in a fast paced and dynamic environmentHelping others develop through coaching and mentorshipIf you have:Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insuranceCompleted, or pursuing your CIP designation (an asset)Strong customer service backgroundTeam-first mentalitySmall Business experience is a plusWe really mean it when we say we put you first.
