La personne chargée de la rédaction des propositions recueillera les données liées aux propositions en vue de leur utilisation à des fins statistiques. Fonctions essentielles du poste rédiger des ébauches de propositions à l’aide de modèles établis et de formulations standard envoyer les propositions aux clients si la personne requérante de la proposition le demande aider le personnel de rédaction de propositions plus expérimenté à préparer des propositions complexes (non standard) répondre aux appels entrants dans la région et acheminer les appelants vers la personne appropriée pour les aider traiter les courriels ou les soumissions de projets en ligne et les acheminer vers le personnel approprié (généralement les responsables du groupe expert) aider le ou la rédacteur·rice principal·e de propositions à répondre aux demandes de propositions et aux demandes de qualifications saisir les données des propositions dans le système de suivi établi informer le ou la gestionnaire de l’équipe de propositions lorsque les activités du personnel dont le temps est facturable révèlent la nécessité d’une formation supplémentaire ou d’une mesure corrective; par exemple : demande fréquente de préparation urgente de propositions manquement répété à fournir suffisamment d’informations pour la préparation des propositions manquement répété à suivre les protocoles établis pour les propositions autres tâches selon les besoins Formation et certifications requises baccalauréat en anglais, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe (atout) plus de deux ans d’expérience en rédaction de propositions dans le domaine de l’architecture, de l’ingénierie ou de la construction Compétences et aptitudes requises excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale et aisance à interagir avec les clients et des équipes diversifiées sens aigu du détail excellentes capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes capacité à bien performer sous pression autonomie et rigueur pour maintenir un environnement de travail à distance performant maîtrise démontrée de : Microsoft Word et Excel systèmes utilisés par Rimkus pour la création et le suivi des propositions processus de préparation de propositions chez Rimkus Exigences physiques, heures supplémentaires et déplacements Le travail s’effectue principalement dans un bureau. L’employé·e doit souvent se tenir debout, marcher, s’asseoir, se pencher, s’accroupir, entendre et parler (être en mesure de s’exprimer et de communiquer clairement avec les collègues). L’employé peut devoir soulever et/ou déplacer un poids pouvant atteindre 11 kg (25 lb). Une vision nette ainsi qu’une bonne perception de la profondeur sont également requises. Overview The Proposal Writer is responsible for: Preparing draft proposals using technical information provided by proposal requestors, established templates, and standard language for review and edit. Once the proposal has been approved, the proposal writer may send the PDF document to the client at the direction of the proposal requestor. The proposal writer will capture proposal data for use in statistics. Essential Job Functions Prepare proposal drafts using established templates and standard language Send proposals to clients if directed by proposal requester Assist more senior proposal writing staff in the preparation of complex (non-standard) proposals. Field incoming calls to the Region and direct callers to appropriate staff for assistance Field emails or online project submissions and direct to appropriate staff (typically Practice Leaders). Assist Senior Proposal Writer with responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications. Enter proposal data into established tracking system. Inform the Proposal Team Manager when the actions of billable staff reveal a need for additional training or corrective action. Examples may include Frequent demand for rushed proposal preparation Repeatedly failing to provide sufficient information for proposal preparation Repeatedly failing to follow the established proposal protocols Other duties as assigned Required Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in proposal writing in an Architectural, Engineering, or Construction environment. Required Skills and Abilities Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and comfortability interacting with clients and diverse teams Keen attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work well under pressure Self-starting work ethic to sustain an effective remote work environment Demonstrated proficiency with: Microsoft Word and Excel Systems used by Rimkus related to proposal generation and tracking Rimkus proposal preparation process Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk (must be able to speak and communicate clearly with employees). Employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary. There will be some occasions where overtime (or working after normal business hours) will be required to meet the demands of the position.
