This combination makes Dyno Nobel a terrific place to work.What You’ll DoSupport Zero Harm culture in Health, Safety & EnvironmentOn time Completion of documentation and reportsOperate Emulsion Plant to prepare and deliver quality products to customer.Operate and perform maintenance on plant facility within Dyno Nobel Health and Safety Management System procedures and practices.Support emulsion and prill handling using site shunt truck and/or Mobile Processing Units (MPU)Calibrate equipment, monitor fuel percentages, check emulsion density, and perform Quality Control analysis on product.Load and unload trucks & Silos, and maintain Site InventoriesFollow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, while driving and operating equipment, and while on blast sites to protect personal safety and the safety of others (Zero Harm)Prepare and maintain all records and monthly reports concerning the production and sales of explosive products.Aid and lead other team members.All other duties as assigned.What We’re Looking For:Clean drivers abstract. - Valid Class 1 driver’s License would be considered an assett2+ years in a mechanical or process positionExplosive manufacturing experience would be considered an asset.Stationary engineer certification is an asset.Be able to pass pre-access medical and be able to wear a respirator.Criminal record check required.Operate and perform minor maintenance of heavy motor vehicles and perform gassing operations within Health and Safety Management System procedures.Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.Must be at least 21 years of age.Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team playerWhat We Offer:Paid vacation time + paid holidaysHealth Care + Life insurance + AD&DRRSP + RPP (after 1 year of continuous employment)Employee Assistance ProgramFriendly and supportive coworkersZero Harm for Everyone EverywhereValue People – Respect, Recognize & RewardThink Customer.
