We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Vancouver who brings strong billing and collections experience, particularly with US clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and be part of a high growth start-up that is expanding rapidly in the UK and US marketsWhat We’re Looking ForWe want someone who has great attention to detail who is passionate about delivering the best experience to our schools.Some traits that define success in this role:- You’re hands-on and love getting into the detail- You’ve worked across jurisdictions, including US billing and collections- You seek to improve and automate, not just maintain- You communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levelsWhat You’ll Be Doing- Own billing and receivables for our partner schools in the US.- Ensuring timely payment; managing the collections process and maintaining healthy relationships for our school partners.- Respond to school inquiries regarding billing-related issues, invoices, and payment methods.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our account managers and schools.- Improve and streamline processes, from invoicing to cash reconciliation.Tools & SystemsAdaptability and a tech-friendly mindset are more important.Experience using Xero and other large scale accounting software is an asset.A love of (and strong skills in) Excel is essentialGrowth & Career PathWe value impact over titles.
