Job DescriptionThe Class 5 5-ton City Pick up & Delivery driver is responsible for: Completing local deliveries within Prince Albert and the surrounding area in a timely and efficient mannerOperating and maintaining a 5-ton delivery truck in accordance with company policies and local regulationsPlanning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiencyLoading and unloading cargo safely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessaryVerifying shipments against delivery orders and reporting any discrepanciesCollecting signatures on a handheld tracking device and payments for deliveries when requiredMaintaining accurate logs of on-duty hours, mileage, and vehicle maintenance on an ELDConducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and complianceCommunicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and team membersAdhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while representing the company professionallyDock duties as needed. Reporting any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns immediately to managementMaintaining a clean and organized vehicle at all timesParticipating in regular safety meetings and training sessions A normal work week will be Monday to Friday; however, some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required to meet delivery demands and customer needs.QualificationsClass 5 license1 year of  Pick-up & Delivery experienceExperience with handheld delivery tracking devices and Electronic Log Devices is an assetReliable and dependableTDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.Additional Information      What do we offer?Attractive Incentive pay with a base of $23.00 per hourComprehensive Benefits ProgramProfit Sharing OpportunitiesTuition ReimbursementOpportunities for growth and advancement through our Dock/Class 5  to Class 1 Driver Program  We would like to thank all those expressing an interest in this position; however, only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted
