Job DescriptionAre you a motivated and reliable owner-operator with a tandem-axle tractor looking for a consistent local opportunity? We are looking to hire a Class 1 Owner Operator for City Pickup & Delivery who knows Prince Albert and the area.This is an excellent opportunity to partner with a stable and expanding organization where your hard work and commitment are recognized and rewarded.Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Prince Albert service area, while adhering to company policies and proceduresEfficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freightMust prioritize all shipments to make all-time critical commitments and Rock Solid deliveriesWorking as a team with the dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on timeResponsible for loading/unloading your own truckRoughly 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Some flexibility is required to meet customer requirements.Incentive-based pay environment with big payday potential for the right person. Must have a truck available every day for work assignmentsMaintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer serviceQualificationsClass 1 license (clean abstract)A tandem axle tractor Must own Newer Equipment 2017 or newerMust have WSIB Coverage1 year of LTL experiencePhysically FitReliable and dependableTDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience is an asset, and is willing to be trainedMust be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related supervisory references.Additional InformationWhat do we offer you?
