Senior Finance Manager

Description and ResponsibilitiesIn this role the successful candidate will design strategies to enhance Interpro Pipe and Steel’s overall financial health. This will be done by formulating a finance strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business through the maximization of returns on financial assets and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase capital. This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance.Interpro Pipe and Steel is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy, and injury-free environment. It is required for all jobs.Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure for the Saskatchewan OperationsCoordinate, analyze and report on the financial performance to Management (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.Oversee external and internal auditors in the performance of year-end and interim financial audits/reviews.Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting.Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent IFRS, GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.Selects, coaches, and develops high performing teams. Establishes measurable goals and performs continual measurement, coaching and counseling to team members.Remain current on operational trends, technological developments, and regulatory changes.Hires, trains, develops, monitors, and evaluates performance of staff.
