We put you first:  Flex and connected mode (telecommuting, flexible schedule) Telemedicine, Group insuranceEmployee assistance program (because we care about the physical and mental health of our people) Financial Benefits: Profit Sharing Plan, Retirement Plan with company matching, Stock Options & Annual flexible reimbursement program Base salary range for Sustainability Advisor  between 65 000 and 75 000$ CAD annually depending on experience  At Cascades you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + team as the Sustainability Advisor : Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of recycling programs at National and Local Accounts to achieve quality improvements and waste diversion goals in collaboration with clients.Support the Sales processes by providing waste and recycling assessments to determine opportunities to maximize material recovery.Support existing clientele with a wide variety of services from quarterly reports, on-site assessments, and training.Organize and conduct waste audits, as well as the development and implementation of Waste Reduction Work Plans (for Ontario clients).Oversee the resolution of non-conformances reported by our CR+ Ottawa Operations team in a timely manner.Complete a portfolio of quarterly diversion reports for key clientele.Support Cascades' Extended Producer Responsibility and Sustainability Action Plan initiatives.Participate in and collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Operations meetings.In-plant visual material audits to ensure contract compliance and proper inbound grading.Stay current on local waste and recycling legislation and emerging sustainability issues to act as a local resource to clients and colleagues.  Bring out the best in yourself  Every day, our colleagues choose to respect their true nature by contributing with passion to our mission.   You too, put forward your strengths:  College or University degree in Environmental, or Sustainable Technical or Development Studies (an asset)Experience in the recycling industry (an asset) Certified Waste Auditor(an asset) Knowledge of sustainability certifications including but not limited to LEED, BOMA Best, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, Copilot) Strong team spirit and excellent communication and presentation skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAccess to a car and ability to conduct site visits, with approximately 10% travel to Ottawa, ONFluency in both French and English to communicate effectively with our units and partners in Quebec and English-speaking provinces We look forward to meeting you   About CascadesCascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
