Is the difference between superior and excellent work just obvious to you? If you answered yes to those questions, the Flooring Coordinator role at On Side might be the job you’re looking for. The Job – Flooring Coordinator The Flooring Coordinator works directly with Project Managers and Operations Flooring crews to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of flooring projects. Supporting operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Flooring Coordinator is always on the move. With their extensive customer services and flooring experience, strong organizational abilities and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Flooring Coordinator is key to the success of any flooring project. Flooring Coordinators are responsible for: Working with PM’s on all flooring related jobs. Regular communication and dealings with Insureds. Knowledge on how to measure both Hard surfaces ( VCT, Hardwood, Laminate, LVP) as well as Soft Surfaces ( Vinyl Sheet, Carpet). Quoting and digitally sending samples to Consensus for Validation Communicating with Suppliers about orders, stock etc. Dealing with sub trades (Installers), Scheduling Installs with both PM and Insured. What you bring: Extensive knowledge in types of flooring, their properties, and factors that influence installation Flooring Sales Experience Excellent time management and organizational skills Experience with CRM software Phenomenal problem-solving skills Strong Customer service Skills and the ability to de escalate Ability to visually identify different flooring materials Construction related experience Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check) Other stuff that’ll help you be successful: A background in any aspect of flooring Previous experience installing flooring You’re computer savvy ad pick up new programs easily Experience with “Floor Manager” software (Pacific Solutions) considered an asset Physically fit What’s in it for you?
