Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operationsEnsure all food is prepared and presented according to established standardsSupervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performanceMaintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentationMonitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and control food costsEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations (e.g. HACCP, local health codes)Schedule kitchen staff and assist with labor cost controlStep in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive ChefParticipate in menu development, tastings, and recipe costingHandle guest feedback related to food quality professionally and promptlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environmentQualifications & RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous ChefProven experience in a high-volume or high-end kitchen environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsSolid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safetyAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCulinary diploma or equivalent professional experience preferredFood Handler Certification required (Ontario) Requirements: College Diploma Work Permit
